Business Visa in Pattaya

Foreigners who wish to work or conduct business in Thailand must apply for a Non-Immigrant “B” Visa. Please keep in mind that you will be only allowed to take up employment in Thailand until you obtain a work permit even though you already hold a Non-Immigrant “B” Visa.

Normally the work permit application takes place during the initial 90-Day Non-Immigrant B visa. Once a valid work permit is obtained, you can apply for a Non-Immigrant “B” Visa extension for up to one year (depending on the validity of your work permit) at the local immigration office in Pattaya.

Warm tip: Don’t forget to report your address at the immigration office every 90 days. It’s required for any long-term visa holders. Also, don’t forget to get a re-entry permit before you leave Thailand. Otherwise, your Non-Immigrant B visa can become invalid and you will need to apply for a new visa to enter Thailand again.

Non Immigrant Visa Pattaya

Whether you want to work for a foundation or a school, obtaining a non-immigrant visa is as important as obtaining a business visa.

Indeed, in all cases it is an activity and in no case it is possible to exercise a profession without a work permit. However, you must be in possession of a non-immigrant visa in order to apply for a work permit.
All applications for a non-immigrant “O” visa must be made to the Thai Embassy in your country of origin and gives you the right to stay for 90 days in the country.

However, it is possible, depending on the evolution of your activity, to ask for a visa extension or to change your visa in order to stay 1 year in the land of smiles.
In order to obtain your non-immigrant “O” visa, you must provide all the required documents when you apply for your visa, including a professional letter from the host organisation, as well as a credit balance of 6,000 euros less than 30 days old.
Although the process may seem long and tedious, IBS can make your life easier with our business visa services
